FIT payment - EDF

Just a heads up folks. EDF are "upgrading" their payments system and moving reading dates. I took my reading as requested and submitted it and got the email acknowledgement as usual. When I queried where my statement/invoice was via email they came back asking for the reading again as the system had not recorded it, had I not chased my payment would have never appeared. They've since put it through manually and I will be paid by cheque as the system is still tits up. I would suggest an email to them to confirm that your reading has not fallen down the same black hole.

Aren’t meter readings due in at the end of this month for FIT payments?

My standard schedule was 1/5-1/8 etc but they changed it and wanted a reading 1/6 and the quarters will roll from there. They are trying to upgrade the system and get every-bodies readings at the same time. Unfortunately the 'new' software is c**p as always and still isn't sorted, so if you're with EDF watch your payments.
