Is it possible to set the maximum battery charge when charging from grid?

One last question...
What happens if the battery is already above the SOC target when entering the scheduled period?
Does it discharge down to that target, then stop discharging? Or is it just a case of scheduled period = using grid power no matter what?

On my inverter it does nothing.

I set my inverter to charge to 50% in summer however it is usually above this so does nothing.

3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)

In this situation Victrons neither charge nor discharge during the scheduled period. Many users have said it would be better if there was an option to discharge down to the target level to avoid it using the grid unnecessarily.

But the good news is they automatically use any PV generation there is to supply the loads, any surplus then charges the battery, only when it is full will it export. Which is exactly what most people want, without any programming.

You can also set an SoC floor level which is like a reserve tank for power cuts.
