I'm keeping it totally off grid. If it needs a Grid charge, in the winter then this will be done using 48v chargers.

I currently have one of the Frankenstein style fuse disconnects between my pylontech stack and the inverter, and I'm planning to retain that for the DIY stack.
The question is, do I need a separate disconnect for the battery pack itself, similar to the disconnect Nowty had previously shown?

For my money you only need one disconnect to isolate the inverter for maintenance and to provide overcurrent protection in case a of fault within the inverter.
