ASHP - reverse valve settings

#1

Post by Yuff »

Does anyone know how I can get access to the settings to operate the reverse valve on our Mitsubishi Ecodan Heat pumps.
I gather from previous comments, Mitsubishi don’t allow the reverse valve function in the UK but do allow the feature in Europe and the rest of the world.
The lowest temp I can set on our pumps is 25c and I would like to set it lower.

Does this help ?,

Apparently there is a DIP Switch to turn on cooling function.

Only if Cooling operation is active (Dip-SW 2-4 ON).

Could not gauge the emoji (tiny) guessing it's a shrug?

Therefore "phone home" will be a notification to mitsubishi I guess, along with any over air updates, & general operational status data that is sent onward for scrutiny by the manuf!?

Just got back from abroad and wondering if it is worth trying to set this up now or next summer, cant see many 25c + days left if this summer.
My solar isn’t even getting close to April’s generation and I assume that’s not normal.

July wasn't 'normal' for me, only 80% of typical generation for the month and only slightly above April's generation. On average over the last 10 years July is almost exactly the same as May for me but not this summer. :(
