The baseline CF for Feb is 41% so it would be good to end the last month of the current Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) at or above baseline. :xx:

Sorry Octopus, I know you could have bought tomorrows leccy for £48 per MWh, but your just going to have to cough up that circa £290 / MWh for the GF power. Thats going to be about 15 grand just for today.

some you win, some you lose! Sorry, Octopus, but that's the way the cookie crumbles... it's just a remarkable first that I am on the winning side for a change!
2.0 kW/4.62 MWhr pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWhr batt

Yes, I doubt we'll see another year like it.
Thinking back to when the figure was first announced there were a few critical responses on their Community page suggesting Ripple would do better to opt for half hour billing, possibly forgetting that when there is wind in abundance that prices are lower. Thankfully Sarah simply pointed out that she thought it a good deal and that most members preferred the fixed annual price, so certainty on visibility over the coming year rather than constantly changing rates. Looking back it would have been a nightmare to produce a spreadsheet to keep track of all those and certainly beyond my ability, let alone spare time. Unlike that for a fixed return. :praise:

Just noticed a comment (2 days old) from Ripple replying to queries on the facebook group about the new GF rate saying they have drafted the comms and will be sending out an email next week (once approved), so I presume this to be this coming week.

I wonder if Ripple have considered dividing the KH output into 4 equal shares with annual PPAs rolling over at quarterly intervals.

Sounds a good hedge to me.

Nice find! Could do with KH on sooner rather than...25th April. FO splicing is a doddle. Even I can do it. Don't know what Jamie's on about! :D

Not wishing to count chickens but there appears to be a weeks worth of reasonable days to follow thereafter. :xx:
Its been going absolutely mental, maybe CF of 75% by midnight Tues night.

CF's 99%+ most hours today. :xx:

Not good, but not a surprise either. At least it is better than my 6% in your competition.

We have been in the right place at the right time for the last year and have done very well indeed. I think it might be several years before we see double digit figures again.
