From Ripple today,

Kirk Hill savings for September
25/10/2024

There are essential verification steps that need to be done at our end, and at the suppliers end once the generation and savings are confirmed. Only then can the savings be added to your electricity account.

We say ‘the third week’ that savings will be added to your accounts, and this will be the case the majority of the time, however occasionally this process will take a little longer, as has been the case this month.

The savings data has now been sent to Octopus and E.ON Next and we’re awaiting confirmation that the savings have been applied to members’ accounts.

I think Sarah is on the naughty step.

Cancellation Notice :? ,

Message from Sarah re Kirk Hill accounts

30/10/2024
We want to give you an update on the Kirk Hill Coop annual accounts.

Some of you will be aware the 2022 and 2023 annual accounts for Kirk Hill Coop have not yet been submitted to the FCA. We received formal notice from FCA that the Coop has until 24 December 2024 to submit the accounts or risk cancellation of the coop. This notice is reflected on the FCA’s website. We are in contact with the FCA over the matter.

I want to assure you that we have been working on the accounts with our auditors for a number of months. It has taken longer than anticipated, but the vast majority of the work is now complete. We expect to have both sets of audited accounts ready for approval within 10 days when we will issue a notice for the AGM to be held.

The coop board is aware of the issue. The delay to the accounts has been discussed at multiple coop board directors meetings and the urgency of the situation stressed to all involved. We sincerely apologise for the delay and the concern this has caused some members of the coop and its Directors. There are clear learnings we will take to ensure our compliance procedures run much more efficiently in future.

We look forward to discussing this with you in more detail at the AGM.

They are really failing in my expectations. Seems a lot of people that have been asking about this for some time have been moderated.

Am not invested in Ripple, but do invest in plenty of stocks and companies elsewhere.
Dont want to suggest anything is untoward as such but This sort of corporate behaviour and obviously unhappy auditors are a huge red flag, its not as if the filing deadlines are unknowns that suddenly appear from thin air.
hope its all sorted soon

Graig Fatha has not filed accounts for 31/3/2022 and 31/03/23 yet.

https://mutuals.fca.org.uk/Search/Society/30486 (documents tab)

Are these guys totally incompetent as they have actual produced the accounts and they are visible under documents, on the website. Why can't they file them with the FCA?

I told them about this last September, but they still failed to do anything. I never heard anymore from them. I went on holiday a few days later and never followed it up when I came back.

John

Simon,
As secretary of Graig Fatha Coop Limited, could you please advise me why the Coop's accounts do not appear to have been filed on the Mutuals Public Register maintained by the Financial Conduct Authority since the 31 March 2021 accounts.
https://mutuals.fca.org.uk/Search/Society/30486
If you consider that it is more appropriate for the directors to reply to me, please advise me of their email addresses.

Hi John,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I am not aware of the reason for this myself, but I will ask Simon or another of the Directors and we will get back to you as soon as possible. I will keep this open on my desk so that I can follow up if I have not heard back by tomorrow.

Kind regards,
Felicity

Given that I have had no further contact from Ripple since 2 September and, as far as I am aware, the matter is still unresolved, I am highly dissatisfied.
Could you please ask Simon P or the director responsible to email me as soon as possible stating that they are responsible for resolving the issue and the time scale in which it will be resolved.
Regards
John

John,

Apologies, I thought Simon had replied to you yesterday which is why I closed off the ticket.
Simon gave an update on the issue you raised yesterday in a meeting so I incorrectly assumed that it meant he has got back to you on it, so that's my fault for assuming. Let me ask Simon for an exact update today and either Simon or myself will get back to you later this morning.

Kind regards,
Felicity
