Stupid question?

I get that a lot. It's me, not you. I speak techlish most of the time.

For a beginner anything with an internally geared hub-drive is fairly neglect tolerant and simple to operate, also the most ubiquitous.
They're low torque and not great at hills but they're fairly no-brainer to operate.

I'm trying not to buy this as my next project, mostly because where will I fit a set of paniers and 10kg of battery...



I should prolly go kick the tyres before making a decision though...

I’d be very interested in you doing a separate thread detailing the conversation. I go MTB with my 12yo. But I can nolonger keep up!

Not so sure about "techlish" Saladin, you might as well be talking swahili to me for what i understand of the details, but its very very clear you are a talented guy with your chosen subject and its a pleasure to read your posts none the less (while my brain scrambles then fails to understand). That cargo bike you was building was epic.
Same as with most posts on here, to a techy dimbo like me decent photos convey the messages easier sometimes and its good to see the results of folks efforts/experience 'in the flesh' as such. Keep it up fella.
