I've been waiting 18 months and counting for my iD4. You can either join the back of the queue or you can pay a little extra and have one now. If you're a taxi driver who needs a ULEZ-compliant vehicle or you cannot work then you'll pay whatever it costs for a car that is available now.
Obviously Taycans aren't usually taxis, but used vehicles are available now and new ones are over a year out...
Was in Tesla showroom the other day, they are showing Model Y RWD for Christmas delivery
And Tesla used values are bucking the trend too. You can get a used TM3 for £10k less than it sold for new 3 years ago.
And having driven both and experienced both the public and Supercharger network I know where my money would be going!
