Upsycho's relifers.

Post by Joeboy »

I was out with SWMBO today as a mate of mine has started a new endeavour post offshore. He is upcycling old gear in a cool way and also doing plasma cutting along with laser etching.

SWMBO bought a nice set of plasma cut robins for her Mum for mother's day and I ordered a set of upcycled slate coasters laser etched with drawings of Da Vinci's flying machines.

Well impressed with the quality of the gear as well as the upcycle ethos. His stand stood out by a mile and he was seeing a lot of foot traffic n sales. :)

They have done well.and are setting a good standard. The run there and back was entirely fuelled by this morning incoming solar power, a 30 mile round-trip. :D

He's not got a site yet. His next show is over in Alford in about a fortnight time. I've worked with this guy and his dad (77) for 20+ years. They are clever, self disciplined and hit the mark. Even knowing that I was surprised today at the 'standard' they have set themselves. I can post up a next show date and location?

Edit-if anyone fancies what they see, PM me. I like the idea of upcycling coupled with a laser and a plasma table! The Da vinci flying machine drawing on slate coasters is a personal request and they are small enough (just started a few months ago) that they'll take on ideas & commissions.
