That may then show up as a ripple internet search ?

Thats the extent of my capabilities with this sort of stuff

Thanks Moxi, I have now altered it. It's not showing up yet as changed. Hopefully just a lag in the server or maybe Galahad can change it for us? I am well aware that investment in this is a leap of faith. Hopefully showing historical figures on the first Ripple working Turbine before Ripple are fully up to speed on the graphs and the investment is still open will gather a few likely souls. :)

Or how about a new thread for No 2? ("Want a share in Ripple windfam No. 2?") Lots of cross-references to this thread of course...

I'm a bit slow, only just realised it was my post that hit the 1000'th message on this thread.

I see Ripple have updated the graph to show up to 30 days trailing. Handy.

Oh yeah, and their estimates even in a 24hr lookahead were utterly bollocks. I'll update my table tomorrow for a comparison...
Off by about 50% I think.

What the hell were they using to predict the wind? entrails, bladderwrack? :D

To be fair I thought their graph estimates were a tad optimistic, except for the 19th March which I thought should have been flat out for over 24 hours but for that day my "actual" yield is only 52% of the maximum.

Maybe we need a W or SW wind to get cleaner air from the sea as its been pretty much Easterlies most of the time since it went operational. Or it could be the turbine needs some running in so might be on lower power for a while. Or it could even be a simple data fault and the graph is not correct yet.

The capacity factor of the turbine is about 30% so we should see it at an average of 1/3 full power over time.

So for the 12 full days of operation (I ignored the first day) my share (at 30% capacity factor) would have generated 260 kWh and that compares with my actual of 183 kWh. So its 30% down but its only been 12 days so we can't complain too much yet.

Ah well, won't be retiring off the back of this... :D Hey, If I get a 1/4MWH in a 1/2 month I will be a happy camper.

New, starting from the 15th.
