Go Faster outcome Qrtr 1 22

Well that's the first quarter in for us running on Octopus Go faster. Actively reducing our gas use and this month we managed to get by with 66kWh gas for March compared to 1,243 kWh March 21. That's a 94.7% reduction, it would have been higher but I had to run the gas to heat the HWT twice after I made a mistake and SWMBO went after me!

On a combined energy buy we used 1,630kWh of power from the grid March 22 which includes the EV compared to 1,514 kWh in March 21. So no real reduction to speak of just an exchange of fuel type. In saying that we are definitely using the EV a lot more than the van (diesel Connect) due to the I5 space in back and extended range. Its about 1,000miles not on diesel in the last month so that's handy.

Comparing quarter to quarter I see a 26.6% reduction in combined fuel use dropping from 7,973kWh in Q1 21 to 5,855kWh in Q1 22. Its getting there.
