There was a very peculiar small area of low pressure which swept through the WT1 area mid morning yesterday. The wind would have been all over the place. I wonder if it got confused and shutdown.

It looked a little ominous this morning when yesterdays total showed slightly negative (instead of zero) which implied to me they had received yesterdays total.

I have no problem with it shutting down, its a WT, stuff happens.

I am not a fan of the timelag in comms and tbh no sign or talk of there being a remote start/reboot function? I am used to working with remote systems and strong comms in all situations. I may be overshooting where the mark should be?

I genuinely believe it fell over yesterday and nobody did anything until 9am. I can actually see Wee Charlie with his boiler suit rocking up this morning. Engaging a tripped breaker and pushing the on button

I think some of the frustration is the fact that this is a single turbine so its either all or nothing. When WT2 is running, a shutdown of a single turbine (1 out of 8) wont even be noticed by us or need to be reported on by ripple.

Going to be close to my combined personal best of 116 kWh today.

Solar is going to be in the high fifties and WT1 might make close to sixty. :D

Moxi wrote: Fri May 13, 2022 4:19 pm Theres been excellent wind all day here so I had been wondering if it was similar conditions in South Wales

Its would be excellent if Nowty Power station hit a new PB !

Its going to be close to beat my combined PB of 116 kWh, unfortunately late cloud came and obscured the Nowty Solar Power station and is going to make just under 54 kWh today. But the wind is still holding up above the end of day forecast in South Wales so currently on around another 54 kWh from my share of WT1, making a combined 108 kWh total so far.

Only another 8 kWh from WT1 to equal my PB, or 9+ kWh and it will be a PB coming in at 117+ kWh.

If not certainly the second best ever.

Only had about 25kWh take from PV yesterday. May seems to following on from the below average April we had. Handily GFWT produced 50kWh on its own lifting us to a respectable 75kWh total. :D
