I paid £800 (inc VAT) for the US2000's over 4 years ago and back then the price per kWh was forecast to halve by 2023.

Still pricey though compared with my re-used growatt batteries.

My Pylontech - £333 per kWh (gross 19.2 kWh)

My re-used Growatt - average of £100 per kWh. (gross 48 kWh)

16.9kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 25MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

You were in the right place at the right time for those GrowWatt batteries! Failure-prone controllers made them seem to have failed, but the actual battery was fine. Suddenly there were loads on eBay selling for way less than they were really worth!
