Now you are in the enviable position of not knowing what to do with all that power (for a few months anyway). :D

10.24kWp PV SolarEdge system
Tesla Powerwall 2
100 x 47mm Navitron tubes (still being installed!) Now likely to be removed for more PV.
MK2 PV router DHW diverter
Morso 5kW WBS

Catherine is away out with the EV, need her back to dump power into the car The consistent 6kW is a bit sorcerer's apprentice in its relenlessness. SO glad I found that mc4, that could have went on for years. Well worth a routine system health check?

I would imagine that would be picked up by the Solaredge optimisers if that happened on your other system, as a low performing panel.

Nice Sunny day.
Its an Ideal time to cut off all the mc4 connectors and solder the cables together.
Reduce Fire Risk.

I seem to remember solder splices on a job offshore. Strip, stick in, heat then heatshrink. Very neat, anyone else know those?

Lost art these days. Not too difficult, slide heatshrink over one side, apply loads of flux to both ends, apply loads of heat and solder quick enough to get a decent join, slide heatshrink back over the joint, apply a little bit of heat. Job done.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

I cut plug / socket off. Strip back one inch of insulation on both cables.
Twist some solid copper from ( lighting twin and earth cable ) around both cables to be joined. Solder with electric soldering iron / Pvc tape over.
