10.30 SOC 25%, continues to be overcast, not burning off fully. 3.2kWh incoming, washing machine still running. This is looking good!
I'm saying nothing. ;)

It seems I don't need to suggest anything to you anymore.
Your input is very much valued! Always has been.👌
Edit- kettle has been on, logsplitter in use and charging two of 3Ah powertool batteries.
Still hazy but looks like burning off fully soon.

Thanks thats appreciated, as I say it was unexpected and quick which was a kindness.

JB with your solis hybrid inverter did you put the supplied smart meter near the inverter and run the CT clamp back to the main incoming "house" positive tail ? and if fitting the smart meter CT do you also still need the second CT clamp that comes in the kit or is this an option item?

It's solaredge for primary system and yes the CT clamp is on the incoming live line from grid, as is the HWT diverter CT clamp. Don't forget they are directional but should have an arrow to indicate.

Great wood to burn though - clean, bright flame and burns hot.

Well, that is if you can manage to process it

Presume it’s already seasoned ??

The tree came down in Feb 22, it's still reading high 40's for moisture so likely next years burn.

I second that- my favourite wood to burn when i am able to scavenge some, 10lb sledge and splitting grenade is my weapon of choice for dealing with it.

I was having a go at some Apple (v v old tree). Trunk about 18” in diameter.

Similarly, using a ‘Grenade’ and sledge. Grenade was quite firmly positioned (embedded). I gave it a really good wallop, bounced out, point first in my leg - I was wearing shorts cos I wear shorts 365.

Still got the depression in my leg.

These tools, not matter how simple and manual, still can bite back.

Better PPE next time.

I lost the battle here at 10am, everything full, wall to wall sunshine and even in this heat I just turned everything on for a minute to see what the full generation potential is and its 7.5 kW, so 3kW being curtailed.
