Checked Octopus balance history today and was amazed to find July's Graig Fatha contribution added on 1st Aug!
Admittedly it had already been showing on Ripple account but what a pleasant surprise to find such a quick turnaround. There's certainly no hanging around on that score.
Since commencement of generation in March with funds first being transferred to Octopus in April, GF has covered all our leccy bills since and being £8 to the good into the bargain. This is ignoring any FIT and Export returns.
Being all electric our consumption in winter is considerably higher so will be interesting to see which of the darker months turns the tables and sends us into a deficit.
Given that to date the best monthly generation has been just 56.9% with July worst at a mere 23.5% then we could be in for some whoppers if annual generation is to reach anywhere near "normal".
Could we even make year end?

An excellent pre cursor for the main event, Winter No1 WT1.
Well I say main event but WT1 is at 13.7mph all the way through to 07.00 hrs tomorrow whereas WT2-9 area peaks at 19.9mph in the same timeframe. :o

I'm hoping the same output estimation plays out with wt2, or else joe will be popping out to huff* at the blades *(blow) in order to get his / our monies worth.

13.7mph 10am GF
20.5mph 10am Turnberrry.

Rarely does GF wind outperform Turnberry and even rarer over a decent timeline (multiday). Looks to me that windspeed is about 30% over at Turnberry about 80% of the time. Once Autumn hits it will REALLY take off there. I worked that coast when I was 16, I remember it well! :o

In saying that, the 32.57kWh into VB yesterday from WT1 is great to have! :D Today looks good too if they can keep it running!

we have already had 3 hours of zero or near-zero production today, but tomorrow and Friday are supposed to be 100% days! We'll see...
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,

Manual shutdown for maintenance maybe early hours, first light? There seems to be a lot of maintenance which is a good thing but it's taking a bit of mental recalibration for me.
Or hopefully as you say, data loss and it will show up later.

That's is quite impressive. Had 29% of July's generation in the first 3 days of August. :o

For a new turbine it seems to have a lot of downtime, are they being paid to use it as a training vehicle or something!? ..or is it a local recently set up maintenance company learning on the job (type thing) ..I do wonder.
