London's desalination plant not "specced" properly by the areas water "experts" (Thames water)
Looks like another delay of a year till operation & then speculative running at 2/3 stated capacity due to underestimating the salinity within the draw area.

I've read the article but what does "not Spencer properly" mean?

I had wondered if it was an obscure reference to "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em" (i.e Frank Spencer)

I think he meant to say "speced"
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated

or even "specced!"
How do you abbreviate "specified?" Specced... Specked?

Yeah, mock the blind, (still suffering vision problems)
We recently fitted a new modem, not everything is set up for handshakes with extenders so I had one, then no bars of signal, ..then there's auto-fudgin-correct as the cherry on the top!
Yes, "specced" ..a well recognised term for maybe 25+ years now.
Anyhoo you bunch of Roger irrelevants
Feckers.

First thing I do when getting any new device is permanently disable the random word guessing function, been caught out by it too many times and it's more of a faff going back and editing the word than it is to type it in full in the first place.

No mocking meant Mr Gus.
Why do none of the said water experts work for Thames Water, you would think if they were going to spend £250M on a project they would find out all the details of the water source they were to use!

I think they did know where the feed was to come from... there is a huge sewage works outfall near there (so relatively fresh water,) I guess they assumed it could be diverted to feed the desalination plant but the management or directors of the company didn't have the nerve to implement it!
