Freezer here is set to minus 14, will see if we are solid blocks tomorrow. As an aside SWMBO & I have been looking for a second hand chest freezer for the cabin back home. Somewhere to store the end of season bounty. Might do with a couple of solar set ice blocks in it?
P.S, not involved in the brine part of this conversation yet but enjoying reading about it.
