I have shown this graph before but I thought I would publish this every month to see how WT1 is doing.

The P75 annual value of 6,681MWh which the share offer was based on, gives a capacity factor of 30.5% of the which is almost smack on the graph below which I copied from an average UK wind resource study.

Image

2022 WT1 Capacity Factor
Mar 36.7 % (based on 16 days pro rata)
Apr 25.8 %
May 22.4 %
Jun 23.3 %
Jul 10.0 %
Aug 17.0 %

Now showing 927 and 200%. I thought we would get early access but it looks like I've missed the boat. Other things like this that I have watched or put in to stopped accepting money at 100% e.g. https://www.triodoscrowdfunding.co.uk/investments where one now shows an extended target. I haven't seen that before.
What will they do with the extra? Maybe pay off a bank loan?
Now 250% funded. When they were around 150% Sarah stated they'd been blown away by the response. Not sure what she might exclaim now!
Looks like Sarah is happy to offload as much of her equity as she can at the current offer price. Companies house currently shows her owning more than 75% of the equity.

Looks like they are continuing to sell off further equity in exchange for cash on the current terms. I wonder what else they have in mind for the future!

Maybe as the next development is a big offshore (floating?) set-up it should produce a big output but will need lots of cash first, and this is a way for Ripple (or Sarah herself) to have a proportion of the action and the returns.
A
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

They had an agreement with NextGen for Scottish offshore wind but as far as I know, NextGen did not win any of the bids.

Absolutely no idea. Not even heard a squeak other than the early rumours of potentially solar which came from themselves. I am hoping for onshore wind again. 🙏

Meanwhile back on a Welsh hillside, I reckon the comms link must have dropped out as there's been no generation since 3am this morning in spite of wind speeds showing around the 13 to 14 mark for much of the day! Perhaps we'll find out tomorrow!
