In anticipation of the Tesla, I purchased a private number plate, mainly so I don't forget it ever again. And to most people it wont look like a personalised plate.

Note - I've edited some characters out of the picture to protect the actual reg no, but I'm sure you get the idea.

(I just spent 8 minutes turning off all notifications for yet another site in excess of 150 actions to achieve it just to read an EV article which is pathetic, and normally means going to 3 different sections of the thing to exclude myself, which if I could trust them more I wouldn't need to & would be less blunt in turning all & sundry to "off" definitively)
Maybe install Gener8?

Just had a look at gener8 mike.

It's half assed as it appears to just stream marketing to someone else to monetise.
It does nothing to clear up the data wild west.

Yesterday I had a text from TESLA saying a vehicle had been allocated to me. :D

Today another text has arrived and I now have a date, time and location and its less than 1 month away. :o

But they want the cash before I pick up. :?

Just sold the dirty diesel so I might never visit a petrol station again ever.

Anyway I noticed the same car park was being used for some NHS paramedics who have a fleet of estate ICE cars. I thought nothing of that and SWMBO turned up with the i3 so I could get home.

We were just about to drive off when I noticed one of the NHS cars was a Tesla Model 3. No way !, I thought and the driver was showing it off to his fellow colleagues. I thought we have to investigate further, so we went and had a chat and had a good look round it. It was brand new, the long range model, jet black with white interior and a big NHS logo on the side of it. And its the first time I have been up close to one, SWMBO exclaimed, oh my god its gorgeous, when she saw the interior.

He said the car is phenomenal, the performance is out of this world and his wife spoke to SWMBO and told her its the best car she's ever driven. Obviously I've seen pictures but seeing one up close for real was something else. So, I'm getting pretty exited now and so is SWMBO.

There was a downside however, the guy said, the problem is compared with our estate cars, we just cant fit all the kit in it and some kit just wont go in at all. I don't understand what the directors were thinking, but its something coming from high up about getting our carbon footprint down. He also said, he was doing a weeks trial with a travelling doctor next week and he doesn't know what they are going to think of it.
