I am in talks with Octopus to take out both meters on our sons E7 property and go with one tarriff on a smart meter. Will update as we go.

Hi Joe, initially, I thought you're planning on removing both a leccy and gas meters, doing away with gas, replacing with single smart leccy version and doing away entirely with gas. Then the penny dropped, or should say 50p! :D

For my boy this one! SWMBO has done the telling for our own property.... Will see how it plays out on gas at my house. I will happily run a 16A source from my place to sons next door if the power debacle keeps going. Dad mode, protect the weans! :D

Is your son next door? Have you thought about getting him on an opposing Go Faster tariff and sharing the battery pack?

Is your son next door? Have you thought about getting him on an opposing Go Faster tariff and sharing the battery pack?
Right next door, about 20mtrs. The thought is to get him on a single tarrif and do the heavy lifting (heating) from our place thru the 5 hr window.

My, similar to ours then 23 degs pitch facing SSE. It averages about 9 MW/yr............8.85 kWp!
