Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

If English heritage don't allow discrete infill of mostly unseen roof space with solar (more weatherproofing) they are nuts.

Similar was done as part of a big renovation back in 2013 on another old Cambridge college in 2013, to the majority there is not much in the way of outrageous visibility, in part being hemmed in down a side street you have to know more as a local than a visitor who don't often get off the main strips.
(Garret Hostel Lane) ..except for maybe "Whovians"

Who knows what a government-controlled quango will demand - especially under Truss (Was shown an engineer's joke today: "A truss is a simple structure dependant on two thick planks")
An aside is that if the lead is quite old, replacing it could pay for itself, as there is lots of silver in old lead. I was told by an employee that the silver in the Brinks-Mat bullion robbery was all from the London Lead Company - who made most of their money by selling the silver that they extracted from reclaimed lead!
