I have a Polar dumb charger since 2014 and I would like to install a DIN Rail time stitch - wifi ones are available, but are they advisable?

Adding a timer to an EV charge point
Re: Adding a timer to an EV charge point
The question you will be asked is whats your car & is the car not capable of accepting timings via its software?
BUT, you have an E-up so car software is not there I guess? ( as context for those answering)
i only ever saw one, an old one at BCA, damaged to hell & unloved, went for crazy money regardless (pre covid)

Re: Adding a timer to an EV charge point
Hello Mr. Gus,
I no longer have the e-Up (a great city car)! - it was replaced by an MG5 (surprisingly good!)
My question relates to upgrading the old Polar charger with a smart Din Rail time switch. These are available from Amazon but not (it seems) from main UK electrical distributors.
