Oh gosh, it's another colossal SUV, with a colossal price tag. And there's an even bigger SUV in the works, called the Polestar 4.

Re: Polestar 3
Polestar 2 is a big beast! It is designed to look all sleek and "low", but if you stand next to one it has SUV dimensions.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Re: Polestar 3
I understand that it's built off the xc40 platform.
I really like the xc40. My wife has an EV one and it's about the perfect size for a family.
I own a diesel V40 and it's too small. I once embarrassed myself trying to buy solar panels, they won't fit through the tailgate.
Re: Polestar 3
+1, my old diesel ford focus could not take full sized panels but the TM3 can.

Re: Polestar 3
I'm not fussed. For me, it just adds to competition and choice. The more electric models there are out there the better.
The affordable Chinese EVs are on their way (witness the MG4, which is by all accounts a great car and costs less than £30k), and I think they'll force established manufacturers to make more affordable EVs too.
We're getting there, and pretty fast too. Amazing how fast the share of EVs is rising in total vehicle sales.

But Polestar is a Chinese company - it's owned by Geeley.
Polestar 2 is a "squashed" Volvo XC40.
