Board question - num of posts..

Sorry, very newb question despite having used forums for ages. How do I increase the number of posts per page, I have looked at the control panel but I must be missing something obvious?

User control panel/board preferences/edit display options/number of recent topics to show

Thanks Joe, that just does the recent topics, I mean in a actual thread, I get 10 posts then it’s next page, ie, your thread “idiots guide to a self build battery” is currently 26 pages of 10 posts per page. I’d really like to make it about 50 posts per page but I just can’t find it.

There is no user option to set this in standard phpBB, but there is an extension that adds the feature.

If you give me a day or so I'll check in to it and see if it will work with the version of phpBB that we are using and add it if it's OK.

I appreciate that Galahad, please don’t go to any effort just for me though, I thought I must be missing something. It’s a nice to have feature but not essential.
