Job done,
Enjoyed that. :D
New cells are sitting at 3.28v. Got a few hundred Watts coming in from the PV. Will keep an eye on it.

Got a nice fat spark when I made the circuit but little current flow. A good reminder that these jobs need to be treated with respect. Will tidy it all tomorrow, then into the forest for some Echainsaw pruning.

The question is, have you got enough off peak charging power for the full stack capacity in your cheapslot window ?

After my capacity improvements, I found last night 6kW for 6 hours was not enough. :?
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

You need a couple of Eltek Flatpack's. Really small and pack one hell of a punch and generally not that expensive.
85no 58mm solar thermal tubes, 28.5Kw PV, 3x Sunny Island 5048, 2795 Ah (135kWh) (c20) Rolls batteries 48v, 8kWh Growatt storage, 22 x US3000C Pylontech, Sofar ME3000's, Brosley wood burner and 250lt DHW

No, the question is 'how good does the reward coffee and picnic bar taste'?
Excellent is the answer!

Fortunate to squeak a test through the door about 20 mins before we lost the sun for today. I'll be on the look out for a split ampclamp and lcd screen to keep a passing eye on the new part of system. I really like this photo as it represents purely offgrid power and storage

There is a high, high frequency whine from the cell balancer and a yellow led light on. All seems well there. 3.29V on the cells I checked a few minutes ago.

3.6kW across the 5 hours go faster ain't gonna do for filling to capacity but it should keep us going until the season turns.

Still got the I5 battery for back up. It charges nicely right up to 7kW. 10.6kW charging combined storage coverage overnight should take care of our immediate needs? 8-)

When I did my last upgrades, the reward I needed was Voltarol and lots of it. :D

I'll be honest, I felt it getting the 5 pack units up there. Very glad I measured multiple times.

Nice work @Joe!

I thought you had a US3000, couldn't see it in the pic...
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Cheers Stinsy,
6xus2000's only. :ugeek:
I'll get it tidied up tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing it charge tonight on Go Faster.

First inadvertent test complete. Across a 1 hour discharge window on very close parallel to two days ago. The SOC dropped 2% instead of 4%. Optimism is high! :D
