You could say that of the leap from one to eight turbines too in all honesty, one being on its own ..likened to hobby farmer (NOT a crofter as some may say) eight being closer to a small windfarm status which grabs more attention as to the perception of succesful investment by the investment *ankers, ongoing. ..the name being well chosen as per centre point of a stone plop on a calm water, the disturbance emanating outwards.

On that point I received a nice little bonus from HMRC following an application via EIS with Ripples certificate supplied as evidence. So cutting the ROI even further

where did you get the certificate? and which phase is it for - or is it the Seedrs thing?

Yes, it is a Seedrs thing so not attributed to any of the phases.
I was impressed with how Ripple navigated everything that Covid threw at them and still managed see the project through to fruition that when they then sought to raise further funding to grow the company I thought they deserved our support and encouragement. I knew nothing about EIS or what it entailed at the time.
I've obviously lead a very sheltered life. But life is nothing, if not a continuing education it would seem.

Yes it counted to your purchase and if you decided not to progress then the 25 was donated to the local charity/ community.

I would like to at least know what Proj3 is before I commit to it.

Yes, I'm tempted to get in for project 3, but would like to know what it is, and also make sure that I can have an electricity supplier who will work with Ripple - so far So Energy are only in the 'probable' list

I think its 50 50 whether its today or tomorrow morning, the wind has been delayed in coming but its arriving now.

I expect October's total to go around the 25th of the month. Also, the jetstream is heading slightly south of us over the coming weeks so December might be quite less windy and colder.

Defo tomorrow now.

If its any consolation, Joeboys virtual WT2 Kirkhill wind turbines are generating even less today.

And he'll be under water tomorrow according to the weather forecast.

A rare incident indeed but not unheard of at Kirkhill. Normal service will resume tomorrow. GF T-shirt on for today though!

It has been chucking it down all day. SWMBO & I were out at 13.50 and the roads were starting to flood. It has not let up since. Fingers crossed that nobody dies, its getting that way and there always seems to be some poor sod gets it from a falling tree or similar. .

My forecast has GF at 13mph at midday with KH at 17.4mph peaking at 23mph at 6pm tomorrow. Sadly its virtual but man is it moving!

I have GF winning up to midday and KH winning in the second half of the day, but as we both have both investments its a moot point.

I am hoping project 3 is an East Anglia or Cornwall project so we have an English one too. Cornwall would probably have a better capacity factor, but East Anglia would be better for generation diversity.
