Effect of cold on the body

Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

Anyone turning down the heating this winter, trying not to turn it up beyond tick over, could do worse than order these, saw her through cold bus stops & wet school days where coats indoors are not allowed & deemed " too scruffy" & not allowed to be worn at breaks (as stupid acade do) ...cold classes, co!d kids is not conducive to study, though I do wonder, seeing as schools cannot afford heating & are cutting staff, ..when will they spin that as energy saving for the planet & ask them to wear extra layers?

Common sense for outdoorsy types, but a whole new experience for many worried folk, so share the links & knowledge you possess with those who need a nudge.

Thanks for that, Ive been sitting on the "101" to report the cars failure to record the other week in Plymouth, 1 hr 26 & counting & forgot to check that store out, ..is that with the membership card cost taken into account? (if it exists anymore)

The trousers are excellent & will be good hand me downs (A1 recycling 👍) for anyone thinking they are pricey, ... pretty much bomb-proof in our experience & she asked for more pairs, was happy to wear them on non school days.

Dress for the weather, being able to "stick it out" in all weathers being under 16, & then when she was covid shutdowns meant she was fairly comfortable waiting outside with no places like spoons open to get out of bad weather & a bottomless coffee.

Worthy purchases, as are her brasher troos, if anyone has kids / teens/ self preservation interest / good gifting.

101 answering time, 2hrs, 10mins 38 seconds ..give ir take a "few" seconds, ..still, I wanted it to be logged in the force area that it happened, just got to do paperwork now (up here)

Lads, wife came back from yet more police sleight of hand trying to get them to log the hit & run locally at a police station they wont let you through the door at a town police station, ..so she popped into TK Maxx for an angry, stressed head clearing browse, spotted Bridgedale socks for £5.99 a pair ..came back with my favourite woollen ones & a few other pairs ...if you are passing, it is now "good sock season" & if you are tight  , that price is worth checking out for donating & gift giving.

Sitting here "cooking" in my hat & orvis shirt ..& shorts, wool socks, no heating, low 16c.
