I think that setting the MPPT charger to a slightly lower cut off than the inverter charger should work fine, only real issues are that there will be a tiny bit of battery capacity unused (but only when charging solely from the MPPT charger) and the data reported by the inverter won't include the MPPT charging bit.
25 off 250W Perlight solar panels, installed 2014, with a 6kW PowerOne inverter, about 6,000kWh/year generated
6 off Pylontech US3000C batteries, with a Sofar ME3000SP inverter

I don't really understand the cause, to be honest. Internal resistance will contribute to it, but is so low that it can't be the sole, or even the primary, cause of the variations. I suspect the culprit may be the BMS, specifically the on resistance of the FETs in the charge/discharge path, but can't be sure. Another possibility may be down to the way the battery and inverter communicate, perhaps. It's possible that there's a bit of latency, and that this contributes to the small variation.

All really speculation on my part, though.
When the pylontech's are in standby (no LEDs lit) the full voltage of the battery is not measurable at the terminals, its a volt or so less.
That might explain the behaviour your seeing.
16.9kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 25MWh generated

Interesting. Does that affect what's reported over the canbus connection to the inverter, do you know? (that's the source of the plot I posted earlier).

No idea I'm afraid.

TInbum might know, he seems to be on top of all that.
