November 2022 Generation

Another month done and the final stats for me are in:

An 'enormous' 62.7kWh generated but the new vertical array should have a small impact in December on those rare sunny days.
Off-peak consumption up massively as expected, but at 7.5p per kWh it's working well. The majority of peak import was during the Power Hour that Octopus ran earlier this month - I wasn't going to pass that up!

Not been that bad a November overall, but there have been a few pretty dire days. Total generation for the month was 243kWh, but some days were around 2kWh or even less:

Slightly better than normal here, 60kWh for November for my West facing array. Normally November is around 57kWh.

94.8kWh, first November for my panels.

A little disappointing but gives an indication of how big the next array should be to cover winter months.

Depending on the latitude you may be on a hiding to nothing with that goal. I know a very nice man who is aiming to achieve 1kW incoming regardless of time of year. The amount of panels he is preparing to use to achieve this is incredible. Its proper hats off stuff.

Being quite far North myself I have found that absolutely minimising the load drawn at home is akin to having another few panels operating at this time of year. Even on the scabbiest day the batteries get a tickle. Insulate, insulate, insulate sure but also do multiple wall of death runs around the house with a wattmeter and clipboard too. :D
The results may be surprising?
