It did not say if the Tesla was in Driver Less mode when it decided to go for a swim. :D

Elon Musk has broken the world record for the largest loss of personal fortune in history.

From November 2021 to December 2022 he lost around $165bn, Ref. Guinness World Records.

Wonder what his plan. B will Beeee

I am waiting for a response with regards to retaining ownershup of the faulty components / board in question, might want to get it looked at elsewhere, hopefully not too much *more* kerfuffle.

Update, was being tested/ soak tested for a few days & pick up anticipated today, but, more cpu problems coming to light elsewhere, as well as problems mentioned (on record) which become more apparent as we drive the loaner (yes, we do update both phone & car software regularly) ..other cam activation not working, (side cams not coming on when reversing wife says) & her seat profile problems, not going into exit mode for instance)

Today they are having problems getting it to even hook up to their kit, so pick up is now pending more work (we only messaged them to advise time needed to get to Northampton & ask the car be fully charged if being handed back pending discussion of earlier repeat states that car is not fit for purp from new.

We prefer a protacted fix & thorough examination to what wenr before, just in terms of contact Northampton Tesla get our recommendation over MK ...& the predominantly "Horses arse" phone line clowns.

Ok, its now deemed fixed, I'm waiting to hear from tesla... (little hope)

Where is best to put out information because I simply cannot believe its "unique" bearing in mind how the flaw is described & replacement part fitted that must affect plenty of other owners, so much so that a part is stocked that fixes it..

This is not solved by an over the air update, but requires an estimated £1750 - £1800 (without vat added on)

We now need to test for ourselves, but obviously, as stated have zero faith in the vehicle.

It is not unreasonable to want tesla to take full responsibility flr the whole costly (to us) tawdry saga, if they don't hurry up & start with some CS & understanding that their cs is BS then next move to be taken, the car still needs 3 physical repairs to the bodywork as result of multiple "supercomputer" failures, . .wondering how many cars it affects & when they'll come clean.

STILL NOT FIXED..

4TH LOT OF DAMAGE FOUND.. NO RECORDING!!!!!

Faulty since day one, this car, for us at least "doesn't get better with time" via updates, something stinks, the only way to really fix it in esla service would be to actually hit it where it is already damaged & see what makes it activate.

Was loading up the car for wife to drivedown to plymoth this am, (giles coren type pant wetting screams about the network NFFP ..from a cosseted london "media type") ..our battery not even full, no worries, ..when I saw damage, one trip since pick up (shop stop on way home) parked on drive, rear facing road ...damage, no camera activation, no tocatta & fuge (in D minor) alarm, just D minor damage & pushed in rear ..more damn damage more damn vexation!!! I

Still waiting for tesla uk management to get their act together & take ownership of this, "take the car back, hit it to research problems)

Reminder, new part fitted that solves the "non recording loop" of coolant to serve processing powers of "super computer"
Context, car parked, cold weather, hovering between 1c thru 6 ...car stationary, no massive cooling requirements required theoretically as car is in sleepy tick over mode..

Damage occurs, pre-existing problem remains.
A big liability!

Why don't you get a car that you don't care if it's damaged?

"property, advertising, range, job"

Any damage to a car costs, either as repair resale or selling on for parts, ..you take a hit from being hit.

What about when someone is raped & "supercomputer" doesnt video it, or an everyday crash, ..have you seen the wham bam channel.

You buy a teaspoon to stir with, if it fails to do that there is little liability, with a self recording car completely different level of consequence potential & legal ramifications as I keep stating.

it should work, not working = a liability for the user / anyone involved in an incident.
