I'd be very interested to know what items have been sourced for a "scoop & run" local council aid / measures taken by charities or local government joe, a rare opportunity to learn as a near-bystander, keep us posted.

Anyone else noticed the blocks of solar panels in various film footage of collapsed buildings?

Three powerbank charging test. :D

One panel will live in Turkey while the second I'll take where I go when not out there. Its a decent thru glass test day.

Where'd you get the glass suckers joe? (what is the nub diameter being pushed through)?
Have you measured the thru-glass reduction?

40mm suckers with threads. I'll find the ebay link. Haven't measured reduction thru glass as I've been playing about in worst case scenario. Also waiting for my inline usb meter to arrive then I'll measure. I also use the suckers on my Bongo trickle charge panel. Never came unstuck from the curved screen since upgrade.

They're out there too. I am really enjoying playing about with the 5V usb stuff. In my head it's 'Yeah, all the big gears sorted but how much can we do with ToyTown?

It will also give me an excuse next time we tour Europe for a beer while 'working', keeping an eye on the charging.

I'll be heading back over to Marmaris next week to see if my pal Furkan has any more usb lights in stock. Would be handy for the Octopus saving sessions.

At the moment I can't find a path back with the 50,000mAh powerbanks as the flight rules don't allow that size to be checked into hold.

The perceived (perhaps outdated) regulations on li- batteries, when travelling narks the hell out of me, battery stress at airports is less likely than another shoe bomber (richard wossaname, who we had to thank for liquid restrictions if I recollect) if we can make drybags rhen we can in theory make valved battery bags for airport travel, air vacuum sealed & multi layered fire & gas restrictive.

Bike batteries are all part of this, mtb is increasingly battery assist, many folk go to europe on airlines spend lots to take bikes out, but no solution for batteries, & even postal restrictions because so many parcel flights these days & not so many land routes I guess, then the all encompassing restricted items list.

They used to let peoplee smoke on planes for gods sakes! ..so surely theres a solution being sat on.
