Effectively you are keeping the systems separate but have the advantage of extra storage

I think further talk on this needs to move over to the other thread opened recently by NikoV6.

Some superb noon sun hit both arrays today, wall panels recorded their highest output at 1.15kW, plus 2.4kW from the garage.

I was stuck on a work call watching the battery hit 100% and export ramping up, a nice problem to have in February.
I can honestly say I've never raced to put a dishwasher and washing machine load on as quickly as I did today...

Its light hazy overcast here and the scatter has helped me no end today its always better for me than blue skies in the early months as the west faced array gets a better insolation. February looks and feels like its the corner turning month this year - production is better every day and the batteries, which are solar charged only, are carrying more and more into the evenings so the electric meter is slowing down towards its almost catatonic state from April onwards :)

3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
