Friday night uk time. Beautiful track on Ripple page. Well impressed with the dynamic response of the Turbine to the conditions. Worth seeing before midnight turnover. 99.27% cf on the last hour. Just impressed with the dip & rise.

Yesterday it cost me 2p to run the house when I take into account the excellent WT1 output. That 2p included a part charge of the EV, astonishing! Today looks even better.

Yesterday I imported 52 kWh and WT1 generated me 60 kWh.
Both energy and cost slightly negative, just how it should be.

Today looks as good or better, even with SWMBO multiple washing loads.

It was only a couple of days ago I was lamenting the overall lack of wind this month and then this morning discover that in the last day February's total has surpassed that of both August and September. Just goes to show how quickly the weather affects so much of what we tend to take for granted.

My goal, currently, is to only use off peak electric.
Since finding this forum I am managing to work towards that goal quite successfully.
My average cost in dec per kWh was 22p, Jan 9p and feb should be 7.5p.
I am pleased with that, working out how to use IO properly has helped massively.
I have signed up for the next ripple investment but not heard anything yet.
With the savings session and government subsidy my energy cost will have been close to zero maybe even negative thanks to Nowty’s savings session tips.
I need much more battery capacity and solar panels, extra solar might be a bit tricky on our house though, lots of trees

But seriously, in these situations, the ripple projects make a lot of sense.
