In the end the soc went down to 17% at our place, the big net is catching just enough even in a marginal day (pheww). We had a day a few days back when the system hit 100% soc through the day, can't be having that! Bigger is definitely better when it comes to arrays and battery storage. Just got to manage it, I'll snip another 1/2 hour off the charging window next week.

Thank Jebus for the hwt as a load dump receptacle. :D

First day of the year yesterday above 30 kWh on the Solar.

Although not a record, my share of WT1 generation yesterday was not too shabby either with another 34 kWh.

Still had to rely on 10kWh from the VB.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated

105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

Nowty, just wait till Kirkhill comes on line and the VB won't be discharged so much. :D

I estimate my virtual WT2 generation share would have been a minimum of 50kWh for yesterday. :geek:

Yes it is, its the first day of the year that the sun doesn't shade behind the trees.
Don't know how I missed this one!,

With a combination of optimism( slowly shutting down home battery charge window) and IO robbing the battery to fully charge the EV last night, today is our first crack at running home on PV for the year (kind of). A starting soc of 46%, forecast looks OK from this distance. 8-)
Another special day today, no its not the Octopus Saving sessions, its 19 years to the day SWMBO and I met. I had to check an old passport stamp to make sure it was not 20 years. :?

SWMBO got it wrong and thought is was 18 years.

Could even be early tomorrow taking into account time zones. :geek:

Congrats!

I find a little effort to remember and mark this stuff goes a long way.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)
