Some people have got their vehicles sign written outlining the issue and parked them outside the dealership. Not sure how effective, or legal, that is, but allowing a customer to get that frustrated is a pretty bad advert.

Either way, keep communicating your frustrations and the next steps you are planning to take to get it resolved and follow through with the plans you say you're going to do. Whether it's some regulator, legal route or a consumer program etc

Thanks gareth, it has crossed my mind,I need to discuss this option with the wife & see what route via legal means, & be vocal at the cambridge city centre shopping arcade precinct, for starters.

Playing fair is of no benefit when up against c***** it seems.

Busy day.

Tribe!? ..us? you w**nker indeed

I aint no tesla tattoo wearing walking billboard, just an ev fan driven into their arms, & now likely out based on this purchase "experience"

The day has been busy indeed, conveniently tesla are not smmt members, https://www.smmt.co.uk/ so no help there because its all "voluntary" meaning the locked doors of tesla really do need the "you have 14 days" route to stand a chance of any action / recourse / renumeration.

As we have only just reached the point in faulty product law (put loosely) to get fault acknowledged at one angle, denied at another, & a reasonable length of time allowed to attempt a fix all checked off to satisfy the workings of ombudsmen before utilising them in various forms we are only now fixing the letter of legal action pending (verbal warnings of intent ignored to date) so we can show everything has been done correctly from our side, & claims for renumeration, take back of car, or a better car (a possibility we might consider, then perhaps sell anyway) & damages which only a judge can issue,

Shopping still to be done then get lost password for uk tesla forum as another avenue of "heads up" to others who the problem may ring true with, & to highlight the crap you "Might" experience dealing with muppets if a problem is encountered.

Sending us home in a broken car that they don't wish to fix or be held accountable nor to understand the problem & improve VEHICULAR SAFETY & customer service down the line when you have 1000's of clones that "could" start acting up in the same manner? ..screw that.

Good to know now the initial awe of new product has worn off ;)

Another reason mentioned at the time for tes3 was not to block the road wherever possible with a tall wide, less aerodynamic car Ie not be a public nuisance in a built up area etc.

That and 4.2 miles per kWh becomes that bit harder to achieve the bigger we go. (i'm such a filthy hippy)

Got off the phone from tesla cs having dealt with another arse, who promised & backpedalled when challenged, wouldn't let me take it up with a supervisor couldn't understand why I'd want to hang on the phone when it can take 45 minutes to get a call merely answered let alone attended to..

Yet in the direct firing line are the lovely "go beyond" physical showroom & technicians with semi dirty hands fighting our corner.. of Northampton who have been the only folk to take it seriously and are on the firing step with hands tied, still actively trying to support us, ..which i'm thankful for & impressed by as a lifeline in this overly long running farce.

Hate the brand , love *some* of the people

They don't give a shit about you(apart from the franchise folk you've met). Ombudsman all the way. Get yer paperwork and call logs in line.

Best I've seen is 3.8m kWh in the dual motor I5 and that was a fluke, 3.6 is more like the max. In saying that we bought the awd version for the snow and it coped admirably even the mornings we were out before the gritters(03.30 hrs -15). 13,000 miles in and its 👍
