New to this battery

I'd be interested in a price, expected lifespan and energy density in these units? Are they new to the market Colin?Colin Deng wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 6:55 am Getting some samples of the sodium-ion battery ON THE WAY

Hi Joe, Yes, brand new cells, we will have the sample this week , not having the price yet, also the MOQ will be need to confirm , also new to me lolJoeboy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 7:10 amI'd be interested in a price, expected lifespan and energy density in these units? Using 18650 Battery to build the powerwall, it will need long time and hard work on itCaesium wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 7:57 am A shame they're small factor cylindrical cells rather than the chunkier prismatics we're using. A lot more faff to hook up.
Years back I used to consider scavenging 18650s to build an oldskool DIY powerwall. Glad I never bothered to be honest. You need hundreds, almost thousands. Using the 280Ah cells takes a fraction of the time, I'd probably still be soldering fuse leads to 18650s now.
Presumably bigger cells will be on their way, that's probably when I'd start to be interested assuming they outperform LiFePO4 for comparable prices. Not too concerned with energy density myself to be honest, I'm not putting these in cars after all. Although my utility cupboard is starting to get pretty full![]()
Just double check the data sheet
Also have the prismatic cells for SIBecogeorge wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 11:50 am https://www.notebookcheck.net/First-ele ... 298.0.html
