Screwfix & Toolstation Aluminiun tape reel prices Oct 2021

Just as a heads up.
I bought some "cheap" Toolstation rolls of aluminium foil tape the other month as it was cheaper than Screwfix, who have now reacted pricewise, would recommend stocking up if you have reason for it..

In contrast it doesn't quite match the £6 for 200 metres of decent 100mm wide stuff but not bad (I stashed 600 metres of the stuff)

But current pages & prices.. good as of 3rd Oct 2021, however £2.99 inc vat for 45 metres of 50mm still not bad for small jobs & repair work.
I've been watching price fluctuations for a while

https://www.screwfix.com/p/diall-insula ... 50mm/4806v (£2.99 inc vat)

(it's £3.99 inc vat at tool station)

100mm at screwfix also cheaper currently
https://www.screwfix.com/p/diall-insula ... 00mm/1634v (£5.99 inc vat)

(£6.99 @toolstation)
Always worth checking both as they often play off each others prices..

Nice one, I didn't know prices varied so much. I'm about ready for another insulation run through the house. Will keep it in mind.

FYI, Screwfix is part of the B&Q empire and Toolstation is part of the Wicks empire.

I have both a local Toolstation and Screwfix and I usually find Toolstation slightly cheaper on most things, although I am an Electricrfix member of Screwfix which sometimes gives me access to hidden discounts in their product range.
