Just need to remember the regs. state socket has to be more than 3m from edge of bath or shower, ok if you have a big bathroom!
3.87kWp PV
10.24kWp PV SolarEdge system
Tesla Powerwall 2
100 x 47mm Navitron tubes (still being installed!) Now likely to be removed for more PV.

Not to worry, the switched spur is in a cupboard adjacent to the bathroom, so no issues with the regs.

Went to add smart socket and realised there was already a time clock.

So as I can’t be bothered Mucking about with electricity today, I will set this and see what results we get, but fit the smart plug later, like having the flexibility of remote on/off plus the energy monitoring.

Getting used to the Tapo smart sockets, playing about etc.

With the increased outdoor temps this week coming, I’ve reduced the on time by an hour.

Interesting in seeing the total kWh per socket, just a pity you can’t see them all on one page and see total consumption of all devices.

Anyway shelly1 on order to alter the dumb EV charger, getting fed up having to stay up to 00:30!!

Was just thinking about adding the Shelly in series with the existing contactor coil, so that’s next weeks job sorted

I've been completely off boosting storage heaters for about two weeks now, but they still boost with excess solar.
April, finally looks like waking up here for solar.
17.5kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 25MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

So my other half mentioned that the hot water tap in the bathroom was getting difficult to work, so thought best crack on with the electrical work.

Old time clock removed and single socket with energy smart plug
So that pulls 690 watts so will be good when the heating is fully off to help dry towels.

Does look strange, but it’s in a cupboard!

While that will probably work it isn’t the correct way to do it. The correct method is to use the Shelly to break the CP.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
