After a recalc the nowty way, these latest bonus points include the missing points from 23/3 so the £3.00/kWh was paid, plus either 100 or 200 for the streak bonus.
Pretty close anyway.

Just need to cash them in now ready for April 2023, with no £67.00 credit from the EPG courtesy of HM Gov.

Just when you thought it was all over....Best of fortune to all the super streakers in here!

Saving Sessions 22/23 is officially coming to an end.

We’ll be emailing everyone a round up next week, but I wanted to write to you personally today to say thanks for being such an enthusiastic part of this important project.

We crunched the numbers and seen you’ve taken part in every single Saving Session. Your dedication shouldn’t (and won’t!) go unnoticed.

You’ve been entered into one last Saving Sessions prize draw - reserved only for our highest streakers - with the chance to win 1 grand mystery box brimming with £2,000 worth of smart tech and goodies, 8 mini mystery boxes worth over £600 each, as well as 100 bespoke ‘No Coal Crew’ Saving Sessions t-shirts.

The best part is, you don’t need to do anything! You’ll be automatically added into the giveaway and we’ll be announcing the winner via email next - so best of luck.

Collectively during Saving Sessions, we’ve saved a staggering 1,862,290 kWh.

That’s the same as:

Going around the world with a Lime scooter 3,247 times
Removing 429 tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere
Planting 213,812 trees
Boiling the kettle 8,194,076 times

As you know, being flexible with and cutting down electricity use at peak times of day helps relieve strain on the National Grid and massively reduces the UK’s need to fire up the coal stations, reducing carbon emissions and saving millions in cash.

Looks like everyone in 8+ sessions are super streakers too. I did not make the second session as I did not opt in properly.

Interesting that "they" are immediately accusing (little) people of gaming the system... isn't that what the big energy companies (arbitrage) and the whole of the City or people playing the Stock market do all of the time?
British Gas has revealed it paid out more than £1.8 million to customers who signed up to the scheme to use less energy during peak times over the winter.
Its customers saved an average of £28.56 each through the DFS – with the top two per cent saving £53 and the biggest saver making £332.
So what?
2.0 kW/4.62 MWhr pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWhr batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWhr pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

Octopus says, we paid out £5.3m, British Gas are lightweights. ;)

So octopus pay 25-40% less to customers than the coal fired power stations and they accuse people of gaming the system…..how ironic and hypocritical
So customers who have invested thousands of pounds to protect themselves from the price gouging and helping the environment, over the last 15 months, are gaming the system ….perhaps it’s the system that is wrong

Folk are/were using the system to gain advantage (£££) in a way that was not the purpose of the system.

We may justify this to ourselves in a variety of ways but folk did "game"the system.

Let's get this into perspective Vitol VPI, Uniper and SSE ripped everyone off to the tune of £525M.
