Obviously I have no evidence. However Germany could've run back to Putin for cheap gas had the pipeline been operational. The US has the means, opportunity, and motive.
As good a theory as any Stinsy. I don't think it will ever come out for sure though.

Did you see the documentary a couple/few years back? It said that a secret service guy in the following car had a negligent discharge and it was tatties ower the side for JFK.
