I read through the DW share offer doc tonight and it’s pretty much the same as the other earlier two. Nothing to change my mind on my purchase earlier today.

I thought Tinbum had a fair point (on the other thread) about spending the same money on more home solar, but for me I don’t have any more space or use of the energy, so DW works for me.

Can't vouch for their veracity or accuracy but they fairly go against perceived wisdom?

That's my Son just bought into DW. 8-) That combined with KH should get him most of the way to power bills off his back.

Decided to go for it too, bought 946W for this one to add to my 1198W from KH. 60% of my declared energy needs met, so plenty of scope to add more with future projects.

I’m having difficulty remembering the name Derril Water, and Derwent Water keeps popping into my head instead. But at least I’ll still have the abbreviation of DW right.

I wish they'd do a Blue Peter type project fill gauge again. 20,000+ reserved a space, wow!

I watched a little bit of the webinair presentation last night. Good to see the solar map of UK with DW being smack bang in the middle of the hotspot irradiation zone.

Managed 98.6kWh of RE generation yesterday between GF & home PV.

Hmmn, that's defo over 100kWh RE in a day if I include the hydroturbine output in Sutherland. I guess there is the possibility of a 200kWh RE day once KH and DW are outputting.

One single, perfect day Spring 25 maybe?

That is a mindbending thought. :ugeek:
