I think the near flawless start to June is starting to end here, a cloudier start to the day today.

The first 5 days saw a total of 156.78kWh generated, so an average of 31.36kWh a day! Small beans compared to some here with their mega arrays, but that makes a average daily generation per kWp of:
- 6.76kW for the flat garage array
- 3.26kW for the vertical wall array

I never expected this sort of performance, means the house will be grid negative YTD at some point later this month.

Flat arrays are nuts at this time of year.

The sun forecast continues in Nowtyland (south coast) for another week.

How many more consecutive days can I achieve continuous higher yields ?

Good for you Pablo, It is an awe inspiring time in year one when sun is ascendant. :D

Personally its the marginal days I prefer as we can make a difference in how much we touch the grid by rigging our homes properly for those days. That would be step two for you if not done so already? Once again, congrats!

A small amount of cloud spoiled the momentum.

But was only down less than 1kWh on yesterday.

Bear in mind that I did 30 yrs overseas and spend months there still. Even June up here can be a bit nippy to those so acclimatised.

I do like that fast heat up and 'free' kettle.

Maybe ill try a blower. :o Hmmmn, yep. Idea.

Although we we were on loungers until yardarm this evening then it plunged.

In saying that, it's only a 20% basket burn compared to Winter. ;)

Ah well, Island life. :ugeek:

We’ve had a fire in the summer - usually if it’s been grey, miserable and dreich.

There’s something comforting, other than temp, about a fire - the Danish would say Hygge.

All year wear down here is shorts and T, although I haven’t seen a T when around the house/garden since April.

Tan’s coming on, mind.
