Coming back to wind, then up at GF, June has got off to a reasonable start to top up the VB with. Although judging by the forecast then for the following fortnight PV will come into it's own. How thoroughly convenient. :D

That's the cash in the Octopus account. Very nice to see incremental gains on the VB SOC. Not paid in towards a power bill since Oct 22! Whole of tax year 22 was 6×£10 payments. Now down to about 0.5kWh per day from grid. :ugeek:

The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed that the annual saving per the trading statement is for monthly savings from March 2022 to February 2023. The savings for March 2023 credited to my Octopus account on 3 April (IE before 5 April) have not been included.

Ripple have advised me that they/the Coop don't actually settle with Octopus until around the 10th of each month and thus they record the payment on that date for tax purposes.
Fair enough, but a bit of transparency would help.

Timeline (which I moaned for ages that it was lacking, which eventually got updated with more anticipated project milestones)...

October 2023
Grid connection communication works

December 2023
Connection protection works

Early 2024
Energisation and final commissioning of turbines

However, I think I remember seeing something somewhere that said earlier than 2024 for commissioning, unless I was completely mistaken.
