Your artwork could go missing if the propane cylinder has a bad day.
Gas volume is 270 times bigger than the cylinder size.
Best to have Barbie Q down the end of the garden.
One of life's risk takers, I'll go with it. Much appreciated though, thank you. Imagine though 'quick, quick, Where's the camera'?

Thanks Iain, very odd to look at once the 4th side was in place. A bit like seeing a 3d render hanging there. Will cargostrap it to the Leylandi and continue later in year. Apparently this is just stage 1... This info was just shared with me!

That’s very good, have to admit when I saw
The first pallet pictures I was wondering how it would end, and it’s awesome
Thank you AGT, I had my own doubts too. It has turned out rather well. SWMBO was out with her Mum today and didn't know I'd finished it. On return, Q close eyes , walk this way etc. Much joy!
Hopefully get it strapped in.place tomorrow and maybe start playing about for brackets on the next proj and whether these panels will actually fit to a reasonable facsimile of properly, should do but tbh I measured from a stepladder at a slight distance with just a little allowed optimism too. Ach, we'll be fine...

Joe, how about speccing a hollow bar (extending) solar support, I was wondering why bearing in mind the high prices of the offerings out there how much, was going to pester a local fen based metalcraft / welding company (of the same name) to potentially prototype if the cost isn't prohibitive, maybe see what one of their apprentices could do.

Joe, how about speccing a hollow bar (extending) solar support,
Like a pair of nested tubes? The larger/outer one slotted at the end so that it can be clamped onto the inner one when it is pulled out far enough.
Vertical in winter, angled out in summer to increase output and shade the wall beneath... I like the idea!
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!
Using the pop up gazebo principal just more sturdy & secured arm slots.
The idea would be to utilise a weather gasket seal at the back wall so it would be more likely to remain dry below whilst providing useable shading below (such as joeboys, boys window area)
Galv strip & silicone sealing or a flexible boot no idea, whatever works without too much metallic reaction concern.
Sort of thing ikea ought produce TBH as it is multi modal & fits marketing BS like "outdoor spaces" & the likes.
A step nearer to car port solar that doesn't rely on stupidly thick architectural (cough) bars & angles that screw up your typical uk estate parking width.
(I should have followed this all up when the lady from zappi asked me to pop back & discuss it all further with her partner at the silverstone fully charged live years back.

It is a good idea indeed. For this job I'll be two strings of single panels. One at around 25 deg and the other at 90 deg. The 25 deg one will generate most but the 90 might be handy come Winter. Certainly have to have the separate strings as so different.
Having a think about utilising the power generated even in Winter. Would only be a hundred or Watts I'm sure, won't know until we are up and running.
Nonetheless, I've set up a 200W ceramic heater in a North facing living room. Room is about 5.5mtrs x 3.5mtrs. Surprised to see the Hive mobile unit showing 0.3 deg gain in 30 minutes. It is 13 degs outdoors and dreich.
Getting ahead of myself but these things are good to know especially with timed plugs so handy.
