That looked absolutely bonkers to commission.
Its also fair play to comment on the "janky" ness of other brands products, but ultimately they are designed for other markets where earthing arrangements are different - its upto the engineer to do it properly here so really thats just a comment on the state of the industry in the UK. Not many domestic sparks are going to be familiar with UPS installs or the regs. why suggested splitting the earth bonding instead of just supplementing, no matter the connected mode arrangement when you are in island mode you WILL be operating TN-S?
I wouldn't touch givenergy, several installers say that they roll updates whenever they like, and that they can only commission when in direct contact with givenergy, every unit is different.
