The haddock was with skin on so I preferred the skinless cod.

Medium Cod and Chips was around £10.

For some reason F&C always takes better at the seaside.

Must be a combination of fresh n' wet fish rather than frozen, ozone, environment on state of mind I reckon.

Fish flesh is a delicate structure, (at this point I ought to really read up on fish flesh in cooking.

Have never been able to eat "rock salmon" dogfish, nasty devils to reel in, horrible skin, haddock, whiting, coley for me seeing as i've never found a place that served mackerel despite the river cottage attempt to convert people (big fan o mackerel) ..& now it is back on the endangered list I have had to cut it out ...fark.

& too many places only really serve cod these days as it sells more so the variety isn't there, thus I've had to walk out empty handed.

Used to be a cheap food eh, not any more, ...there was a long read recently on chippy closures in the uk, dire, no mention of a massive percentage of the fish often being from the russian factory ship fleets at lower prices than other sellers..

Bearing in mind the farce that was brexit, I do hope that russian fleet is simply banned as a result of ukrainian invasion, our own trawlers could do with the business & the sea stock the regeneration opportunity.

Had another solar powered day trip out in the EV today.

Saw one of these zipping about, I first thought it was solar powered, but I caught up with the guy later and its a totally enclosed pedal powered tricycle.

I was thinking about a suitable clue for this place but everyone I thought of makes it too obvious. Maybe the last picture might give away the location of todays mystery place.

Hereford’s cathedral is a tower, this is a spire and much taller.

The headline news story today has an indirect connection to this place.

In my defence ( ) there’s a spire’y type building in Hereford away from the Cathedral.

Harrow ?
