I can’t imagine those are particularly efficient…

However any gas boiler can easily be converted to bottle gas simply by swapping a £3 nozzle.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

Likely.not, I am fascinated by devices that come from caravan/boat/van worlds and can stand up well in RE world when the grid drops out. Literally 'just add water'. Oh aye, plus a £3 nozzle.

We are OK as half the pv set up is offgrid. Not everyone has that luxury? It must be very frustrating if an owner is fully grid tied and power goes off. Plan for the worst, hope for the best?

Although it's all largely moot Dec to Feb for me so I fall back largely on the WBS and a bit of overnight grid charging.

I have a Wok burner connected to a dedicated LPG tank outside as off the gas grid, electric induction hob is just as good as gas but nothing beats a gas heated steel wok for stir fry's. In power cuts you just need a match to replace the electric lighting spark, the LPG jet was included in the box.
