Just a little bit of poke!!
They seem to be having a Tesla vs Rimac match, each trying to out-do the other.
Although neither are any where near the VW ID-R, which posted a 6:05 lap, at 1:15 quicker :o
Yes, I know, it isn't a production car, but still......
Solar PV since July '22:
5.6kWp east/west facing
3.6kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter
2x 5.12kWh Sunsynk batteries
1.6kWp Hoymiles East/West facing PV on the man cave
Ripple DW 2kW
Ripple WB 200W

Has Tesla had the Model S Plaid around it yet ?
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated
6 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

Yep, it was slow.  (er).

Although the Plaid is an actual road car and is achievable pricewise.
Never heard of the VW ID-R, I forsee quite a degree of internal organ rearrangement unless a flight suit worn.

Not one for popping down.the the co-op in.

It was VW's track only EV showpiece - they ran it up Pike's peak and round Nurburgring and possibly Goodwood hill climb as a technical showpiece for a properly quick EV - bit like the McMurtry Speiling thing but without the ground effect fan system
