Interesting, I didn't realise about the shutting down costs.

Something was up down here today Rampion turbines were idle, as were the two Shoreham port ones most of the afternoon.

Thats because its been an extremely low wind day, especially in the south, nothing to do with curtailment. We are even burning coal and running the open cycle gas turbines now late into the evening.
